A:No.DGEL Rubber Base is a 2-in-1 product.It acts as both the bonding base coat and a strengthening/tinting layer. You apply it directly onto your prepped natural nail.


Q: Why do I feel a "heat spike" (burning sensation) while curing?

A:This is a common reaction with professional builder-style gels. Because Rubber Base is applied thicker than color gel, the chemical reaction during curing releases heat.


Q: Can this be used for nail extensions?

A:DGEL Rubber Base is perfect fornatural nail overlaysand short extensions. While it provides incredible strength, it is best suited for reinforcing your natural length or adding a very small extension. For very long extensions, we recommend using a hard builder gel.
